WELCOME TO UNITED NATIONS - KENYA

Thank you for visiting our improved site. This site will highlight collaborative activities of the UN system in Kenya. It presents information about the work of UN organizations represented here, and provides links to existing global UN sites. As it grows, it will seek to increase links to UN organizations, including the World Bank, the IMF and others, as well as to those of our development partners.

The UN Country Team is intensifying collaborative programming under the Common Country Assessment (CCA) and the United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF). Having gone through the pilot phase of the CCA, and with increased joint programmes and projects under UNDAF, the UN Country Team looks forward to working with the Government and People of Kenya to eradicate poverty and improve basic livelihoods. The web-site will help us in our resolve to achieve the above objectives through increased information sharing and learning.

This site introduces a new dimension to the way we conduct our business. It will be a gateway to the UN system in Kenya, providing the platform for interaction with our partners. As any new and fledgling site, it will grow and improve. In this respect we invite you to surf through the site and share your comments with us to enable us to make improvements. Welcome to the UN Kenya Web-site!
